Necessary Evils of DT Livin

Kinda a lot of work!

W. Thomas Hagman wrote a song about this

And it was called Karma!

I'll fill in the details later.

The Doc loves to murder deer!

On Saturday, I dragged my darling wife off to press the trigger button at Capitol City Skeet Range all the way in the East Austin suburb of Manor, Texas. Despite the fact that I didn’t do that great in my conquest of assassinating clay pigeons, it was cool to actually get outside before noon on a Saturday, instead of nursing a headache caused by Circleville’s karaoke or getting crunk on the back porch with Willly Tom.

Here’s my obligatory endorsement of Beretta firearms.

Comanche Moon

While recovering on the couch from last night’s stint at Boomerz’s, a cold front blew in. So I decided to take some pictures before I sat down to watch 8 seconds, which my darling wife recorded for me. It should also be noted that as she did record it for me, she also gave me a lot of shit for not seeing it before. I'm from Fort Worth, how much can you expect?

Welcome to Downtown Oak Hill

Some inquire as to why I typically never leave Oak Hill. But with such amenities as at least one decent bar (two if you count Circleville bar, which is only three miles from the casa but technically within Cedar Valley), liquor stores, an indoor firing range, HEB and one brand new, completely mobile fish and chip restaurant, why would you want to leave? Some have never heard of the thriving community I call home, so for my first blog entry, I wanted to inform everyone of Oak Hill. As you can see from the map provided below, I’ve depicted where I live. Coincidentally, it’s also in the vicinity of the downtown area, which some call Chinatown. If you study the map, you will notice Oak Hill borders such other communities as Cedar Valley, Circleville and Sunset Canyon.
